Well hello.
Seems that after my trip to Vietnam I let the whole blogging things slide... turns out doing things takes over from writing about them... and truth be told I am not sure I have done so much that I thought anyone would care to read about it!
All change now though because I have sig up for Janathon, and one of the rules is that you blog about what you have done. The other rules? Well seeing as you ask...
Run or do some form of exercise every day.
Blog about it within 24 hours.
Join the Janathon group at the Running Free website and log your runs/exericse.
Visit other blogs and leave comments, giving your support.
So, here I am reopening my old blog.
I havent been sat on my toosh doing nothing since Nambodia. Here's a cheeky wee time line for those who care..
Aug 2009 - Ran my fist 10k
Dec 2009 - Ran the Doyen of the Downs Ultra (30 miles)
Apr 2010 - Brighton Marathon
Jan 2011 - Gave birth to my beautiful son
July 2011 - Dyce Half Marathon
Oct 2011 - Loch Ness Marathon (taking 24 minutes off my previous marathon time, 4:42:58)
Nov 2011 - Peterhead 10k and Fraserburgh Half
I have done one thing after another, and I am proud of myself, but I wonder what I could do if I had set a proper training plan and no run into each new event (often without really things... ahem, an ULTRA!!) So 2012 is the year I plan to get more organised and to see just how much I can do when I put my mind to it properly. Now I have a little son I have no choice to be a bit more organised, oh and to run faster when he decides I have to. A crying child in buggy is not fun for anyone!
